Aluminum or bi-metal soft drink and beer cans, aluminum
foil, pie or dinner trays

 | Cardboard (Corrugated)
Corrugated box-board in which cases of grocery items,
appliances and other products may be packeged. Preparation: Break down boxes
and flatten. Keep separate from newsprint.

 | Chipboard
Food cartons, shoe boxes, tissue boxes, tablet backs,
etc. Preparation: Remove wax/paper insert from food carton. Flatten.

 | Glass
Colored or clear bottles or jars used as containers for
food and drinks. Preparation: Remove lids and any metal rings.
Rinse. Separate clear glass from colored glass and place in sturdy containers.

 | Magazines
Glossy magazines and catalogs. Preparation:
Bundle in grocery bags. Separate from newsprint. Keep dry.

 | Newsprint
Newspapers, telephone books with the covers removed and
other publications newsprint. Preparation: Remove glossy, color magazine and
advertising sections. Bundle in grocery bags or tie with sturdy string. Keep
dry.

 | Plastics
Milk, water and juice jugs, soft drink bottles, colored
detergent bottles. Look for symbols 102 on bottom of containers.
Preparation: Rinse and flatten. Remove all lids, pumps, and rings. No
motor oil containers, plasitc wraps or bags, plastic tubs and bowls with food still in
them.

 | Tin (Steel) Cans
Fruit, vegetable and other food containers. Tin (steel) cans
usually have side seams and will be attraced to a magnet. Preparation:
Rinse. Remove labels.
